Ok

So. We've been busy.

School FINALLY ended (PRAISE THE LORD) and we celebrated in style.

At school there was a "dance off", where all the students competed by grade in a dance they learned during PE. It was to the tune of "Hoedown Throwdown" from the Hannah Montana movie, so it has become a big hit at our house, and I find myself singing it in my sleep. Not by choice, of course. I just can't get it out of my head. Boom. Clap. Boom-de-clap-de-clap.

There was also an awards ceremony. At school......(with the best first grade teacher EVER)

And we had one at home too with our own special awards.......
Followed by a surprise for the girls - MOVIE PARTY at Town Square with a trip to see "Up" - which by the way is a very cute movie with a sad, but sweet story. They were way excited because we don't go to the "real" movies very often.
After the movie, we visited Yogurtland, where you put together your own frozen yogurt cup and top it however you like. We LOVE that place. And yes, those are gummy bears in that picture.

We've also been swimming like crazy people. It's by far our favorite activity right now. Some of us enjoy actually swimming in the water. Others of us just enjoy perfecting our summer glow.

And others have just been perfecting their cuteness.
